Brothers and Sisters,
Having had the opportunity to live in a 'Communist' country overseas, I've experienced a system without democracy. It sucks. The responsibility/luxury of choosing our leasders and political direction is something which makes the U.S. sitll worth fighting for. Yet politics can seem daunting. Where does one begin? I recently came across a good article which breaks Democratic participation down. I thought it was good enough to share with everyone in the local.

Remember, if you are not participating, someone else is deciding your fate.
Thanks for letting me share,
